It is in the heart of Passeio dos Clérigos, one of Porto’s most iconic streets, that the Italian brand Liu Jo presents its latest store. Although its doors opened last November, the much-anticipated official opening will take place on April 19.
The event, starting at 4 PM, will be open to the public, promising a lively afternoon. It will feature an exclusive styling session with fashion consultant Nelly Gonçalves, accompanied by the beats of DJ It’s La Marie. Familiar faces will bring glamour to the occasion, including actress and presenter Ana Sofia Martins, actress Joana Aguiar, reporter, model, and radio host Catarina Maia, as well as digital influencers Mariana Machado, Anita da Costa, and Vicky Montanari, among other well-known names.
On this day, the Italian brand will introduce the innovative ‘J Skin’ concept. More than just a fashion store, this is a retail concept that places sustainability at its core, emerging from the commitment of Liu Jo to a greener path. This approach aims to revolutionize the design of stores through the use of certified materials, produced in zero-waste factories. Water-based paints, coatings made from recycled materials, and 100% recyclable hangers are just a few of the many components of this new concept. Liu Jo thus embraces a more sustainable approach, also expressed in the use of structures that are designed to adapt to the continuous changes of the contemporary world.
This is not Liu Jo’s first venture into the Portuguese market. With an established presence in the Amoreiras shopping center in Lisbon, the brand has now decided to expand its influence to the north. This strategic decision reflects the brand’s vision of distributing its high-quality products and being present in all major cities across Europe.
