A FULLY RECYCLABLE INNOVATION IN A NEW 600ML FORMAT
Aware of the environmental impact of its products, Yves Rocher launched its first refill in 1992. Aiming to change consumption habits and reduce plastic use, the brand now introduces a true innovation—one of the first fully recyclable eco-refills made with 90% recycled plastic on the market.
These new ECO-REFILL shower gel bottles are available in 9 different scents and feature a vegan formula with a sulfate-free cleansing base. Dermatologically tested and with a neutral pH, they gently cleanse the skin, leaving it delicately scented while preserving its natural hydration.
700 TONS OF PLASTIC SAVED
With 3.4 million units produced in 2024, the goal is to save 700 tons of plastic per year.
A COMMITTED PARTNER IN REDUCING PLASTIC USE
To reduce the use of virgin plastic and strengthen its efforts against global plastic pollution, Yves Rocher has chosen to use certified OBP (Ocean Bound Plastic) recycled plastic in the Eco-refills of the Bain de Nature line. What is OBP plastic? It is previously used plastic collected near coastal areas, classified as "at risk of ending up in the ocean." This recycled plastic is sourced in India through Plastics For Change, a certified OBP and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) supplier. By using OBP plastic, we contribute to:
• Developing waste recycling solutions in regions where waste management is insufficient and plastic waste is at high risk of ending up in the ocean. • Improving the social conditions of communities that rely on OBP waste collection, particularly by supporting children's education.
Plastic is one of the main concerns for consumers, with 80% now seeking more sustainable products. This issue is also a key focus of national and European regulations. Now is the time to reduce packaging, conserve resources, and minimize end-of-life waste. This presents a major challenge for the cosmetics industry—one that Yves Rocher is committed to tackling by making its products more responsible throughout their life cycle and encouraging new eco-friendly habits.
