Deeply, the renowned Portuguese surfwear brand, continues its ecological commitment across all its products. Following a collection of wetsuits entirely developed with revolutionary Mineralprene—its more sustainable and eco-friendly neoprene formula—the brand now launches a collection of jackets and vests made from 100% recycled polyester. Designed for a versatile look, always prioritizing comfort.
The collection features everyday pieces with a relaxed style, emphasizing the quality and durability of the materials.
The collection represents a fusion of urban fashion and the brand's vision of modern surf culture. It aims to resonate with an audience that lives in the city, appreciates good design, high-quality materials, and timeless pieces—with a touch of salt.
These new releases represent another step in the brand's ecological strategy, aimed at ensuring a positive economic, environmental, and social impact. It is with this mission in mind that the brand continues to work tirelessly towards more sustainable and environmentally conscious production, collaborating with suppliers who offer ecological solutions.
“At Deeply, we believe in the power of small actions. Whether in the water with our wetsuits made entirely from the revolutionary Mineralprene or on the streets and exploring the outdoors with our jackets crafted from 100% recycled polyester, we are moving toward a sustainable future.
We develop innovative products with meaning and impact. We prioritize the quality of materials to ensure they are highly durable and timeless."

MORE ECO-FRIENDLY INITIATIVES
MINERALPRENE, THE NEW ECO-FRIENDLY AND SUSTAINABLE NEOPRENE FORMULA
Launched in 2022, Mineralprene offers unprecedented lightweight and comfort. It is the key ingredient in surf suits: Soft, sustainable neoprene made from a blend of recycled oyster shells and limestone.
Limestone extracted from the earth is used to replace petrochemical products that are typically found in materials used for making wetsuits. This is a natural mineral that provides greater flexibility, lighter weight, and increased protection against solar rays. Oyster shells are recycled and converted into oxide powder. This mixture creates a more natural and comfortable rubber foam.
In addition to reducing carbon footprint, this more sustainable neoprene composition offers greater flexibility, perfectly complementing the brand's innovative design philosophy. It is crafted for extreme comfort and durability, enabling high-performance surfing.
WATER BASED GLUE
Deeply works with a supplier that has converted solvent-based lamination adhesive into a water-based adhesive, eliminating harmful volatile organic compounds. This change eliminates 600 grams of volatile organic compounds per surf suit.
ECO CARBON BLACK
Ecological carbon black is another important ingredient found in surf suits. Tires, being one of the most problematic sources of waste, contain a significant amount of carbon black derived from fossil fuel. By recycling these tires, we can incorporate ecological carbon black into our surf suits. This recycling process consumes more CO2 than it emits, reducing CO2 emissions by 72%.
RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES
The fabric found in our surf suits is made from recycled plastic bottles. We add color using a dope dyeing process, which significantly reduces the amount of chemicals and energy used in the production of our surf suits.
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
